My dear friend passed away in May—her life’s efforts ended.

She is described by many as ‘the energizer bunny’—a life full to the brim helping others. We did a lot of work together.

In one of our last conversations, she said, “At least some of the stuff we did has lasted!”

You never know what will resonate, what will echo, what kind of effect you might be having on others.

Sometimes, it’s been the side-gigs that have turned out to be more significant than the thing I thought was center stage.

I’m keeping my antenna up—life is full of surprises.

I may well be remembered something as inconsequential as the way I eat bananas—my own approach, developed over many bananas in Africa.
